Troubleshooting

Start with the journal: /coin?id=<ticker>, or data/<id>/journal.json. Most problems are a line there.

The runner says settings refused

organism.json has a value outside the limits. The message lists each one. Fix the file and start again.

live mode needs TERRARIUM_KEY and COIN

The .env is missing one of them. Both are required in live mode.

the agent wallet ... is not the fee recipient of this coin

The wallet in TERRARIUM_KEY is not the coin's creatorFeeRecipient. Run Verify on the coin: it shows who the recipient is. Either use that wallet's key, or have the current recipient hand the role over with the factory's transferCreatorFeeRecipient.

this coin is not paired with ETH

Only coins quoted in ETH are supported. A coin paired with another token has a different pool and is refused at start.

this ledger was started in paper mode

A ledger is bound to its mode. Use a new ORG_ID to run live, or delete the folder data/<id> to start over (the chain keeps the truth, the battery and the price log restart from zero).

The battery stays at zero

Nothing has been claimed. The escrow may hold less than the minimum claim (0.0005 ETH), the coin may have little volume, or fees after graduation may arrive in batches. The journal shows CLAIM lines when fees land. A coin with no volume has no fees to live on.

claim failed

Usually the RPC. The next beat tries again. If it persists, set RPC in .env to another Robinhood Chain endpoint.

burn failed

The transaction reverted or could not be sent: nothing was spent. A pool buy can revert on purpose when the price moved past its minimum-out guard. The hook fires again at its next cooldown.

treasury trimmed ... to match the wallet balance

The books said the treasury was larger than the wallet could hold above the gas reserve. Something left the wallet, or a transaction was mined that the books did not see. The treasury is reduced to the truth; nothing else changes.

no pool to buy on yet

The coin has graduated, but the pool is not there. The organism waits and retries at each cycle.

The site shows a demo

No organism is published on this server. Start the runner (launch.bat with a .env) and its data/<id> folder appears. A paper run with no coin uses a made-up price: it is shown as paper, and only a coin with MODE=live is a real one.

The 3D terrarium is flat or missing

The browser has no WebGL, or it is disabled. The page falls back to a 2D drawing. Try another browser or enable hardware acceleration.

Verify says NO PROOF

Read the row: it says what the chain holds and what the organism claims. A treasury row can say NO PROOF right after a withdrawal. A burn address row says the chain holds less than the journal claims, which should never happen for an honest organism: treat it as a real warning.

I need out now
