The journal
Every step an organism takes is a line in journal.json (the last 1,500 lines). The site shows the newest first. Lines that moved money carry the transaction hash.

Reading a cycle

WAKE Battery at 100%: awake, tier full.
THINK No model call: no model key configured.
BURN Buyback drip burned 0.001785 ETH of supply. drip: 10% of the treasury 0x4ce1...e8ce
SAY "buybackDrip: burning 0.00179 ETH (drip: 10% of the treasury)." template
What a line is not
A SAY line is a sentence, not a commitment. The commitments are the caps. A template line is exactly what an organism without a key writes; a model line is the model's own words, trimmed to length.
Errors are lines too
A failed claim or burn is a RISK line with the first line of the error. Nothing is hidden: a failed burn spends nothing and the books do not move.
